Shipping policy
We send seforim to almost two hundred countries, and nothing on the shelf ever goes out of print. Here is how long it takes to reach you, and what it costs.
How long it takes
These are outside estimates rather than promises — most orders arrive sooner. Allow a few working days before the parcel leaves us:
- Israel — about a week. Paperbacks come from inside the country, so there is no border to cross.
- United Kingdom — up to about eight days.
- France and much of western Europe — up to about eleven days.
- United States, Australia — up to about two weeks.
- Germany, Switzerland, Canada, New Zealand and further afield — up to about two to three weeks.
If your order has not moved within these times, write to us and we will chase it.
What delivery costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address and the weight of the books, so a second sefer in the same parcel costs far less than the first. Ordering two or three volumes together is nearly always cheaper than ordering them separately.
As a guide, a single volume runs about $8 to the United Kingdom, $9 to the United States, $14–15 within Europe and Switzerland, and from $6.50 within Israel. Harder-to-reach destinations cost more, and the exact figure is always shown before you pay.
Where we ship
Almost two hundred countries. A small number cannot be reached at present; if yours is not offered at checkout, that is why, and you are welcome to write and ask.
Customs and duty
Books are zero-rated or low-rated for duty almost everywhere, and most destinations exempt small parcels entirely. Where a charge does apply it is set by your own country and is not something we can collect or waive on your behalf.
Bulk and institutional orders
For a shul, yeshiva, school or simcha — anything from twenty copies upward — write to us before ordering. Larger runs are printed and priced differently, and we can almost always do better than the retail price and the retail shipping.
